Mount Nemrut. This mountain is 2134 metres high and is located in the south-eastern part of Turkey. A tomb was built here by King Antiochus I Theos. This tomb consisted of giant statues depicting him, two lions, two eagles and numerous other Greek deities. These statues have decayed and their heads have toppled and scattered around the area.
